It was time to make my laundry room more attractive to me.
It's come a long way since we bought the house 3 1/2 years ago.
You can see it at the very back of the garage.
The floor was concrete and the walls were just studs.
There was no insulation and no sheet rock.
It was really dark and dreary.
We took out the old door that was solid, no windows, and replaced it with this door and added a doggy door.
Doggy doors are one of the best inventions ever!
In process...
I painted it a whimsical, bubble gum pink because that was my grand daughter's favorite color and I thought it might be fun.
It looks fabulous. Love the color and all the wonderful storage you have also. The door works wonders for the light. Beautiful job. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteAnn Marie- It looks beautiful. Love the door with the panes in it...it certainly brightens the area up. We always had a "cat door" cut through to our basement when we had kitties!
ReplyDeleteI like the nice, fresh white color. I need to do something to my laundry room too. It has become the "catch-all" room for all manner of things. Love the checkerboard floor...did you tile it or paint it! Have a great 4th~xo Diana
Wow....it's soooooooooooooo beautiful! Almost would make me want to do laundry . Lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice room! You don't even mind ironing in a place that pleasant!
