Studio Progress

I made a little progress on my studio this weekend.
I have a couple of projects going right now. The first thing I'm going to tackle this morning is getting a couple of truckloads of mulch for the beds and garden.  It's beginning to get warmer, and I prefer to do alot of the outside jobs before it gets HOT! However, this is what's been accomplished so far.

I made the Romans with a scalloped edge, adding a little interest to small windows. My windows are 24"x72". Originally, I was going to make valances also, now I'm rethinking them. I'll probably trim out the windows and stay with just Romans. I think keeping it simple may be the way to go.
I've had this little bench forever. I fell in love with the legs and it's a nice size.

Some spiffy new fabric and she's fitting right in.

Here's where I'm at with my settee. I've never reupholstered anything before, so this was an adventure.
This is what I started with.

So far though, I really haven't had any problems, and I really like how light and fun she's becoming. She's definitely not taking herself too seriously!

Stay tuned for further updates. I'll post as I finish, or start , new projects.
